Decorated Army veteran banned at Florida college exposes shocking truth about campus censorship

Once again, college campuses are showing their true colors. Instead of offering a marketplace of ideas, universities have turned into playgrounds for left-wing bullies. Look at what just happened in Florida, at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University—where the so-called leaders decided to stop former Congressman and retired Army Lt. Col. Allen West from even setting foot on campus. That’s right. A decorated Army veteran and a man who served his country in Congress isn’t welcome to speak to students. Why? Because he’s a conservative.

Let’s call this what it is: leftist censorship, plain and simple. The school’s administrators talk about “diversity” and “tolerance” until a real conservative shows up—then the doors slam shut. There’s no diversity of thought on these campuses. Only a dull, suffocating liberal groupthink, where anyone who challenges the narrative gets shut down or thrown out.

This isn’t just about one campus or one speaker. This is happening all across America. College students are being brainwashed from day one to toe the liberal line. Professors push Marxist and globalist garbage, teaching kids to hate their own country, while real American heroes like Allen West are shunned. The message is clear: if you have conservative values—patriotism, strong borders, the American Dream—you’re the enemy.

Just look at the hypocrisy. Left-wing activists and professional agitators are welcome to spew anti-American nonsense any day of the week. But invite a black conservative Army veteran, and suddenly there’s some rule or excuse to keep him away. The left pretends to care about inclusion, but in reality, they only accept those who kneel at the altar of woke ideology.

How much longer will parents and taxpayers let universities use their money to attack American values? When colleges are afraid of letting students hear from someone as accomplished and honorable as Lt. Col. Allen West, isn’t it obvious they’re scared of the truth? If free speech only flows one way, what are these elitist campuses really teaching—except fear and submission? Looks like the biggest threat to higher education isn’t “misinformation” at all—it’s the left’s iron grip on what’s allowed to be heard.
