America is losing control of its own clubs, traditions, and even jobs—all because of the radical push for so-called “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.” Why does DEI get to barge into private youth clubs or force employers to hire based on boxes checked, not qualifications or values? Nobody ever voted for this. The left just decided. And now, quietly, this agenda creeps into every American back yard.
Look at what happened after the Supreme Court’s old Roberts v. United States Jaycees case. That ruling forced a private group to let in people based on gender against their own rules. Guess what? That opened the door for today’s DEI juggernaut. Liberals saw their opening, and they took it. They paved the way for big government snooping around anywhere it pleases—telling churches, clubs, and camps who must be in their ranks.
Whenever liberals shout about equity, what they mean is control. It’s not about fairness—it’s about telling everyone how to live, hire, and gather. They lord over every space, whether a small job or a kid’s club, with rules that crush tradition. “Inclusion” sounds nice until you realize it means dissolving boundaries you built for a reason. This is not progress. It’s forced social engineering, plain and simple.
DEI demands always seem to skip over merit or respect for private choices. If Americans wanted every club and job to look the same, we’d decide it ourselves, not hand it to bureaucrats and Ivy League activists. Instead, globalist elites and their big-government friends ignore the will of regular people, just to chase empty diversity quotas and virtue points.
If folks don’t wake up and draw a hard line, nothing sacred or private will last. Why should a youth group, a sports league, or an employer surrender their judgment to some coastal bureaucrat obsessed with identity spreadsheets? The answer is simple: they shouldn’t. Isn’t it time for Americans to slam the door on DEI meddling for good?
