It should surprise no one that as soon as the Trump administration takes real action to secure our elections, left-wing groups swarm the courts. Now, the Department of Homeland Security is getting sued by three “progressive” organizations, simply for daring to check if our voter rolls are clean. Apparently, the left thinks looking into voter fraud is some kind of crime—unless, of course, Democrats are the ones in charge.
The truth is obvious. Our country has had problems with voter fraud for years, and Americans are sick of hearing politicians pretend it doesn’t exist. When the DHS does its job and starts digging through voter registration, liberals panic. They rant and whine about privacy, but what they really want is to protect a broken system that helps them score easy votes.
Why would the left be so afraid of an honest review of our voter rolls? What are they desperate to hide? The answer is simple: they rely on confusion and loopholes. The more chaos there is at the ballot box, the easier it is for them to rig the system. Every time someone tries to bring order and transparency, the left files yet another lawsuit.
It’s laughable to watch these groups scream about protecting “millions” of Americans. No one’s being hurt by a common-sense audit. The only thing at risk here is the Democrats’ grip on dirty tricks. In their world, protecting America means turning a blind eye to corruption, as long as it keeps their team on top.
This never-ending circus in the courts exposes just how terrified the left is of accountability. When government finally stands up for fair elections, radical activists race to shut it down. Voters should be asking: why are liberals allergic to honesty, and why do they fear the truth at the ballot box?
