Another tragedy has rocked America’s schools, this time in Oregon. A young teacher, Megan Lambert, just 25 years old, is now gone forever. A five-year-old child, Rhoam Summer, will never see another birthday. Once again, regular Americans are left asking why our kids and teachers aren’t safe in what should be the safest places in the country. The shooter? Someone who used to be in a special needs program at Silver Rail Elementary. But don’t expect the mainstream media to ask tough questions. Liberals want to sweep real causes under the rug so they can blame the usual suspects—guns, conservatives, or “societal inequality.”
Let’s get real. Decades of failed progressive policies are the problem here. Schools are flooded with political agendas and “equity” trainings, but students with serious behavioral or mental health issues are pushed through a broken system, ignored, or even hidden from accountability. Why? Because the left decided discipline is “mean” and that holding people responsible is “oppressive.” Guess who pays the price? Innocent teachers and children.
Instead, taxpayer money is wasted on building endless bureaucracy—diversity offices, social justice consultants, and every “crisis” program under the sun—while real safety takes a backseat. Violence keeps surging. When children with obvious red flags are not helped—or, worse, when their genuine needs are treated with hollow slogans instead of firm guidance—the results are tragic. Liberals say their way is the compassionate path. But all we see are more body bags.
And let’s talk about the cheap tricks used to push a phony narrative. The left shouts about guns, but won’t mention how the failed school system let a dangerous individual slip through the cracks. They treat anyone who questions their approach like some kind of monster. Meanwhile, globalist interests are more concerned with political correctness than protecting Americans. Local communities are held hostage by policies written by ivory tower bureaucrats thousands of miles away.
How many more teachers and five-year-olds have to die before the so-called experts admit their ideas are a disaster? How many times will they put their socialist dreams ahead of children’s lives? If liberals care more about pushing buzzwords than saving real people, maybe it’s time the rest of us take back our schools for good.
