Trump under fire for putting American wallets first while elites demand more for Ukraine

America First—or America Last? That’s the real question as President Trump faces attacks for a supposed oil deal and for daring to speak his mind about Ukraine’s leadership. The globalist media and their left-wing cheerleaders are throwing a fit because Trump is more interested in protecting American jobs and families than playing the tired liberal game of endless foreign aid.

For more than four years, Washington elites have shuffled billions out of our wallets to prop up Ukraine’s war effort. This isn’t charity—this is a drain on hardworking Americans who are paying $5 at the pump and watching their grocery bills skyrocket. But you won’t hear that truth from the progressive talking heads. They cry foul when Trump suggests a different path, because they never met a foreign war they didn’t love (as long as someone else pays for it).

Let’s be honest. The left loves Zelensky because he’s their latest hero in a Hollywood showdown against Russia. But this isn’t a movie—it’s American money on the line. Trump isn’t afraid to question whether it’s worth bleeding our nation dry while Europe sits back and lectures us on democracy. Frankly, calling out Ukraine’s leadership is what a real negotiator does—especially when American interests are on the table.

Of course, now the usual suspects are gnashing their teeth, accusing Trump of siding with Putin. What a joke. The same liberals who let our own border collapse are suddenly experts on world peace. When Trump talks about oil deals, he’s talking about lower energy costs and energy independence—values the green-agenda Democrats are desperate to destroy. Maybe if they’d spent less time cozying up to global energy cartels, we wouldn’t be paying twice as much to heat our homes.

The truth is simple: Trump takes care of America first. No apologies. No groveling. If that rattles the fragile egos of foreign leaders or upsets the cocktail crowd in D.C., too bad. Isn’t it time Americans started demanding the same loyalty from their leaders? Or are we doomed to keep funding endless wars just to prove how “nice” we are to the world’s corrupt elites?
