Nonprofits like these—where families come to pray, celebrate, and feel safe—have become soft targets because Democrats in power are asleep at the wheel.

Now, suddenly, politicians are begging for more security funding. They’re playing catch-up, pushing panic-driven policies after the threat, not before. A Democrat, Representative Raja Krishnamoorthi, was there that day. Now, of course, he’s on the bandwagon for toughened security. If the left focused less on virtue signaling and more on protecting Americans—whether they’re in churches, temples, or anywhere else—we wouldn’t be in this mess.

But this is bigger than temples or one community. For years, conservative voices have demanded stronger funding for law enforcement and tough stances on crime. Liberals? They’d rather throw slogans around—calls to “defund the police,” roll out the red carpet for criminals, and champion open borders. How’s that working out now, when people’s lives are actually at risk?

It’s shameless how quickly the political elite demand action—when it’s their event, their photo-op, their own communities having close calls. Yet when everyday Americans are under threat, their tragedies barely earn a tweet from D.C. They want to funnel more cash into security now, but where was all this concern when conservative groups faced threats? Hypocrisy at its finest.

Let’s not forget: Every American—no matter their background—deserves safety. But it’s time liberals admit it’s conservative policies, not progressive platitudes, that actually protect people.
