Democrats block bill to lower your bills while families struggle to survive

When it comes to looking out for working families, Democrats showed their true colors this week. Ohio’s own Senator Jon Husted has slammed Senate Democrats for blocking a common-sense bill that could have kept electric bills low for hardworking Americans. Instead of helping out the people, liberal lawmakers chose to play games, just so they could score cheap political points. That’s the twisted game the radical left plays these days—politics over people, every single time.

Let’s be honest here. The cost of everything is skyrocketing, from groceries to gas and, yes, electricity. Data centers and Big Tech are gobbling up energy, and families are the ones stuck footing the bill. Someone in D.C. finally tried to do something about it, but the Democrats couldn’t even put aside their obsession with power for a moment to help regular folks. Blocking this bipartisan bill just exposes their priorities—they care more about pleasing their globalist friends and special interests than defending American wallets.

What makes this even worse is that Democrats love to blame “greedy corporations” for high prices. Yet when it’s time to actually do something, like supporting a bill to lower electric rates, suddenly those same Democrats slam on the brakes. Is it hypocrisy or just incompetence? Maybe it’s both. One thing’s for sure—families in Ohio and all across this country deserve better than these liberal games.

Senator Husted gets it. While he’s fighting to put Ohioans first, his opponent and the rest of the Democrat crew are too busy pandering to eco-extremists and global elites. Who gets hurt? Small business owners, middle-class families, and seniors barely scraping by. Democrats would rather block progress than risk upsetting their deep-pocketed donors.

There should be no debate—American families come before political theater. Maybe one day the left will wake up and remember who they work for.
