French President Emmanuel Macron seems to think fancy concerts are more important than his own burning country. As violent riots rage across France, this smug liberal leader is spotted sitting comfortably inside a Paris arena, enjoying a Céline Dion performance with his wife. Regular French citizens are terrified, watching their neighborhoods turn into warzones—and Macron can’t even be bothered to pretend he cares.
There’s nothing new about elites ignoring the chaos that their failed policies create. But while cities smolder and people suffer, Macron’s priorities are out in the open for everyone to see. He’d rather be serenaded by pop stars than take responsibility for the disasters under his rule. Some call it tone-deaf. Others call it classic globalist arrogance.
Leftists love to preach about “the people” and “justice,” but their own leaders party while their cities burn. The hypocrisy is sickening. Macron knows the riots are out of control. He knows his weak leadership and soft-on-crime approach made things worse. Yet instead of doing his job, he’s busy rubbing elbows with celebrities. That’s liberal privilege in action—rules for thee, not for me.
Internationally, Macron loves to lecture America about democracy and order. Maybe he should try bringing some order to his own backyard. All the champagne socialism in the world can’t hide the fact: France is being run into the ground by out-of-touch elites who only care about themselves.
While working families fear for their lives, the liberal globalist club is busy enjoying the good life behind velvet ropes. Macron fiddles, France burns. How long will people tolerate a leader who dances while the nation falls apart?
