It looks like Barack Obama just can’t stay away from the spotlight. Instead of fading quietly into the background like every president before him, he’s back—sticking his nose right into the middle of America’s problems. This time, Obama is throwing his support behind Ilhan Omar, a politician hounded by questions about her citizenship and loyalty to the United States. Liberals always talk a big game about transparency and following the rules, yet here we are—with their beloved Obama standing shoulder to shoulder with one of the most controversial members of Congress.
For decades, former presidents had the decency to step aside. It was about respect for the office and letting new leaders govern. But apparently, these old traditions mean nothing to Democrats. Just like Obama’s “lead from behind” presidency, he can’t help but drag America backwards. By championing Omar, he sends a disastrous signal to every law-abiding citizen: follow the rules, get left behind; break them, and you’ll get a pat on the back from the elites.
Let’s not kid ourselves—Obama isn’t backing Omar out of some sense of duty. This is about pushing the radical, open-borders, globalist agenda he always wanted. After all, Omar has never been shy about her disdain for American values. She’s made headlines with her anti-American rhetoric and controversial behavior before. Now, thanks to Obama, the left is emboldened to brush off serious questions about her background. Apparently, the rules don’t matter when Democrats are involved.
Meanwhile, the rest of us are expected to sit quietly and pretend nothing’s wrong. Obama and his liberal pals call us racists or conspiracy theorists just for asking the tough questions. But Americans know better. Our country deserves answers, not lectures from a failed president desperate to hang onto power by propping up radicals on Capitol Hill.
This is the modern Democrat agenda: ignore our laws, support America-hating politicians, and count on the media to cover for them every step of the way. Obama’s little comeback tour is just the latest slap in the face to Americans who still believe in truth and accountability. So here’s a question for the so-called “progressive” elite—how much more of this hypocrisy do they think Americans are willing to tolerate?
