Washington bans cheap Canadian meds millions of Americans face pharmacy price disaster

America First—except if you need medicine. That’s the new rule coming down from the so-called “protectionist” policies coming from Washington. Starting in January, thanks to orders from our own FDA and Customs Border Protection, ordinary people will basically be banned from importing lifesaving prescriptions from Canada. Millions of Americans who count on those trusted Canadian pharmacies are about to get whacked with sky-high drug costs. This isn’t protection—it’s a shakedown.

The left is always lecturing about “caring for the little guy.” But look who gets crushed here: working-class Americans, seniors, families already struggling with inflation. While liberals cry about “Big Pharma” and “corporate greed,” they’re about to turn millions into hostages of the drug companies’ monopoly pricing. How’s that for hypocrisy? They pretend to hate big corporations, but suddenly they’re happy to let Americans pay more if it fits their bureaucratic agenda.

Let’s get real. American prescriptions can cost ten times more than the exact same pills sold across the border. That’s why so many people skip the nonsense and just order what they need from Canada—a country with better prices and, frankly, less red tape. Now, D.C. wants to punish people for that decision. It’s more control, less freedom. Who wins? Not average Americans. It’s Big Pharma and globalist middlemen cashing in, while regular folks pay the price.

Remember, the “protection” being promised isn’t for you or your family. It’s for bureaucrats, lobbyists, and the swamp creatures who always find a way to make themselves richer and the rest of us poorer. The government has failed for decades to solve the prescription price crisis. Now, instead of fixing the rigged system, they’re locking the doors and throwing away the key. That’s not American. That’s corrupt.

So why should any patriot trust these policies? Why should we believe the same politicians and talking heads who’ve sold out the American patient time and again? When “America First” means Americans last at the pharmacy counter, something is dead wrong in Washington. Maybe if lawmakers had to pay out of pocket like the rest of us, they’d actually put the people first.
