Why Is the Media Silent as Christians Are Hunted Across Asia

Across Asia, Christians are being hunted down for their faith. While our own elites celebrate tolerance and diversity, Christians in Hindu, Communist, and Muslim-led countries are suffering unthinkable abuse. There’s no “safe space” for Christians in these parts of the world—only harassment, jail time, and, too often, flat-out murder.

It’s unbelievable how liberals in America turn a blind eye to religious persecution when it doesn’t fit their narrative. You won’t see Hollywood or the mainstream media crying tears over Christians in Asia. No hashtags, no candlelight vigils, just silence. Why? Because it’s not politically useful. Defending Christians doesn’t win any brownie points with the globalist crowd. It exposes their hypocrisy—championing “human rights” everywhere except where Christians are the victims.

These attacks are happening under the noses of brutal regimes and extremist mobs alike. In some Hindu-majority nations, Christian families live in constant fear, wondering if tomorrow will bring a mob smashing through their doors. In Communist states, pastors are dragged away and churches are bulldozed. The so-called “religion of peace” countries? Christians there are often targets just for worshipping. This isn’t “diversity”—it’s discrimination, plain and simple.

Meanwhile, Western leaders trip over themselves to make deals and send aid to these very nations. Where’s the outrage? Where are the tough questions from the White House? Nowhere. Weak-willed politicians prefer to virtue signal about climate change and gender identity instead of defending basic freedom of belief. They’ll trash American Christianity all day, but never utter a word about the blood spilled in Asia.

Christians are the world’s most persecuted group, yet you’d never know it from listening to the left. Maybe if believers in Asia hoisted rainbow flags or chanted anti-American slogans, they’d finally get some attention. Until then, the silence from the liberal elite is deafening. When will they care as much about Christians dying for their faith as they do about hurting woke feelings?
