When a deadly tragedy unfolds—like the horrifying event in Wichita where a pickup barreled into a soccer field, leaving two dead and ten wounded—you’d expect swift justice. But, nope, not in today’s America. The driver? Not even charged. Let that sink in. Families are left to bury their loved ones, kids have to process unimaginable trauma, and the driver walks away without so much as a slap on the wrist. If this is what passes for accountability, our country is in real trouble.
This isn’t just some random accident—it’s a symptom of broken liberal priorities infecting every corner of the justice system. Instead of protecting ordinary Americans, far too many in power now bend over backwards to make excuses. Does anyone really believe a tragedy like this would get swept under the rug if the media could spin it into one of their political witch-hunts? Of course not. They’re quick to point fingers when it lines up with their anti-conservative agenda. But when innocent people lose their lives in a way that doesn’t fit their narrative, suddenly they have selective outrage.
Liberals love to talk about compassion and “equity,” yet here they are, presiding over a system that leaves innocent victims without justice. Maybe they’re too busy pushing for open borders or prioritizing gender ideology in schools to actually enforce laws. Wichita isn’t supposed to be a battleground where families pay the price for failed policies and reckless leadership, but that’s exactly what’s happening.
Let’s be honest: It shouldn’t matter who’s behind the wheel, what their story is, or how the facts might look on a CNN chyron. If you plow your truck into a crowd and take lives, you need to be held responsible, period. Anything less sends a message that chaos is allowed and law-abiding citizens are expendable. The left loves to claim the moral high ground, but their actions show the opposite—they care more about virtue-signaling than real accountability or safety for American families.
How many more senseless deaths have to happen before our so-called leaders start putting Americans first—like they’re supposed to? Maybe the left should ask themselves: if it’s not murder when people get run over on a soccer field, then what is it? Or do all the rules just disappear when the cameras stop rolling and the victims don’t fit their narrative? Sometimes it feels like America is the only country where justice has become this selective, all in the name of progress.
