There’s a disturbing new trend tearing American families apart. All over the country, young people are suddenly ditching their own parents—going “no contact” and bragging about it online like it’s a badge of honor. What used to be unthinkable—cutting off family—has now become some kind of twisted status symbol in woke circles. These kids, pumped full of left-wing ideology, treat parental love like it’s just another chain to break.
Big Tech and pop culture have a lot to answer for. Social media feeds turn every little disagreement into “toxic abuse.” Influencers push the idea that parents are just holding you back. Therapists jump in, telling young people that cutting off mom and dad is not only normal, but even healthy. It’s insanity. Since when did disagreeing with your parents deserve a lifetime grudge? In the real world, family is supposed to mean something.
Let’s call this trend what it really is: another product of the liberal attack on traditional values. For generations, young Americans grew up respecting their elders. Now, thanks to woke brainwashing, loyalty is gone and narcissism is the new normal. The globalists love it. If they can get kids to reject family, America loses its backbone. It’s easier to control a nation with no roots or community ties.
The hypocrisy is staggering. The same leftists who preach about “inclusion” turn around and celebrate division—especially when it means splitting up strong families. They’ll cry about “triggering language” or “generational trauma,” but won’t blink twice when an entire generation erases their parents from their lives. What do these so-called experts offer as replacements? Nothing but shallow online communities and empty slogans.
This isn’t progress. It’s cultural rot. Americans should be fighting to keep families together, not cheering while they crumble. The truth is simple: if we keep letting radical ideas destroy the cornerstone of society, we won’t have a country left worth saving. Who benefits when families break apart? It sure isn’t the American people.
