The sad truth is, another innocent child has lost her life in New York, and once again, those in charge are ducking for cover. A five-year-old girl named Fabiana was killed in Queens, allegedly by her own mother, Francis Cabello. But here’s what the left doesn’t want you to ask: Why does this keep happening in Kathy Hochul’s New York? And why does the state’s so-called “child protection” system, ACS, keep failing the most vulnerable?
Under Democrat leadership, children suffer while government bureaucrats cash their paychecks and check their watches. The warning signs were there. The system should have been watching. But like usual, the liberals running Albany only care about protecting their own political interests. Governor Hochul is acting like nothing happened. Instead of facing the glaring failures in ACS, she’s hiding the truth behind bland press releases and empty promises. At this point, it feels like cover-up has become standard protocol for the left.
How many more children like Fabiana have to die before anyone in power admits the obvious? Progressives love to boast about their compassion and grand social programs. But in reality, these so-called “safety nets” are tangled traps that let sick people slip through the cracks, with deadly consequences. Look at the headlines—one after another. The same sad story, the same government failure, and not a single Democrat taking the blame. The politicians hand off the responsibility, then scream about “systems” and “funding” as if taxpayers haven’t forked over enough already.
What’s even more infuriating is that the same liberal elites who fail these kids will preach about caring for the global poor and spending more on illegal migrants. But when a local child cries for help, suddenly there’s nobody listening. Instead of focusing on our own communities, these globalists are obsessed with virtue-signaling about everyone but American families. Priorities are upside down, and the people who pretend to care most are actually doing the least.
This is what happens when blue-state politicians stop believing in real accountability. They shuffle papers, shift blame, and hope voters forget. How many more murdered children will it take before New Yorkers demand leaders who actually protect our families? Or does Hochul care more about covering up broken agencies than saving lives?
