Anthropic hands out shares but who really wins in Silicon Valley’s latest stunt

It seems like every week, another tech giant decides they know what’s best for everyone. Now, Anthropic, an artificial intelligence company, is making headlines with their latest PR stunt—handing over five percent of their company shares to a so-called “Public Benefit Fund.” Supposedly, after their IPO, this new “fund” will help the public. But let’s not kid ourselves: this is just another way for Silicon Valley elites to buy praise while keeping control.

Liberals and globalists love to push these kinds of schemes. They pat themselves on the back for charity, but refuse to ask who’s really benefiting. Are average Americans going to see any of that AI money? Don’t bet on it. Whenever Big Tech claims to be “giving back,” the winners always seem to be the same circle of privileged insiders, politicians, and their activist friends. Regular folks are left with nothing but empty promises and higher prices.

Now, stockholders still need to sign off, but let’s be real: the whole thing reeks of virtue signaling. It’s just another attempt by Anthropic’s upper-crust investors to look “woke” ahead of their massive payday. They know that by tossing a few scraps to the public through a “fund,” they can dodge hard questions about AI’s real risks—like job losses, privacy violations, and unchecked censorship.

This move also shows just how obsessed these companies are with image. They want the public to trust them with our data, our jobs, and even our elections, yet the only “accountability” is a tiny slice of their billions handed off to some soft-focus initiative. Meanwhile, politicians and global corporations cheer them on, happy to watch America’s wealth and power funnel straight into the hands of unelected tech overlords.

The sad reality is, liberals would rather celebrate charity from billionaires than fight for real accountability and freedom. If Anthropic and these other AI giants truly cared about America, they’d answer to the people—not create slush funds and pat each other on the back. Is this just the next step in Silicon Valley’s grand plan to buy our loyalty—one “public benefit” at a time?
