Keith Ellison is at it again. He stands in front of the cameras, wagging his finger, swearing he never called Republicans or independents “racists” or “bigots.” But the truth is as clear as day: there’s video proof of him saying exactly that. The left loves to play the blame game, but when the cameras catch them in the act, suddenly they’re all “who, me?”
What’s dangerous about Ellison’s words isn’t just the flat-out lie he’s peddling now. It’s the message he sends about anyone who dares to disagree with the Democrat agenda. If you don’t back the left’s flavor of the month, you’re smeared as some evil, backward villain. It doesn’t matter if you’re Republican, independent, or just a concerned citizen — in his world, that makes you a bigot. This is what passes for “tolerance” among Democrats.
Let’s not kid ourselves. Liberal politicians like Ellison can call ordinary Americans every ugly name in the book, and the media yawns or cheers. Imagine the outrage if a conservative ever painted an entire voting bloc with such a broad, hateful brush. There would be calls for resignations, boycotts, congressional investigations you name it. But Democrats get a free pass, every single time. This is hypocrisy at its worst, and folks are fed up.
The truth is, Ellison and his pals in power are terrified. They see more Americans waking up and walking away from the left’s tired talking points. Instead of debating real issues, the left smears their opponents as racists. It’s the oldest trick in the progressive playbook. They can’t defend their record, so they divide and conquer.
Maybe Ellison should take a long, honest look in the mirror. Who’s really spreading hate and mistrust in this country? Maybe it’s time Americans start demanding respect from politicians who are supposed to serve us — not insult us. If this is what the Democrats call “unity,” then tell them we’ll take a hard pass.
