How France Lost Its Soul and Became a Warning for America

France used to be the face of Western civilization. Champagne, art, liberty, beautiful streets—what happened? Today, all that’s getting buried under a mountain of government-approved surrender. Paris, the City of Lights, is now the city of burqas and cowardice. The elites don’t care. They wring their hands about “inclusion” while ignoring the consequences draped right in front of them.

Anyone paying attention can see what’s really happening here. French leaders sold out their values for a fake sense of diversity. Now, France looks less like the free republic it once was, and more like a timid outpost for globalist social experiments. How many riots, stabbings, and crime waves do they need before they wake up? Meanwhile, ordinary people are just supposed to keep quiet and get used to this “new normal.”

Liberals love to talk about women’s rights. But go ahead—ask them about head-to-toe coverings making their way into schools, public offices, and city blocks. Watch them squirm or just yell about “tolerance.” The left’s hypocrisy is front and center. They’ll ban a French flag in a stadium faster than they’ll ban a burqa. Why? Because international progressives are more worried about hurting feelings than protecting freedom.

This is what happens when you let the anti-West crowd write the rules. Instead of expecting newcomers to respect local laws and culture, the state bows down to every demand, no matter how extreme. The politicians who built this mess hide behind walls. The people pay the price while their own traditions get trampled. That isn’t multiculturalism—that’s national suicide in slow motion.

Let’s not kid ourselves—America is heading down a similar road if the left gets its way. Weak leadership, open borders, and spineless apologies to every grievance group are a recipe for disaster. France stands as a warning: abandon your values, and you’ll end up with neither security nor respect. Maybe the next time liberals lecture the rest of us about “diversity,” they should take a good, hard look at Paris and ask themselves—is this what victory looks like?
