Is Marine Le Pen Losing Her Nerve?
Marine Le Pen once stood as the warrior France needed—someone ready to defend her nation’s borders, her culture, and, let’s face it, the last scraps of common sense in Paris. She was at the front of the pack fighting the globalist cabal in Brussels, denouncing the climate scam for what it is, and promising to put the French people first. Now, with the next presidential race on the horizon, Le Pen looks less like France’s iron lady and more like just another player in Europe’s political circus.
Instead of smashing the EU’s Green Deal and shaking off the shackles of Brussels, Le Pen is now making a game out of France’s debt collapse by threatening Germany with a CO2 tax. Sure, it’s poetic justice for a country that ruined its own energy supply chasing green fantasies. But this isn’t leadership—it’s petty brinksmanship, turning France’s own chaos into her neighbor’s headache. Rather than fighting the climate cult, Le Pen is weaponizing their bad ideas to shake down the Germans. It’s clever politics, but not the bold revolution Europe desperately needs.
This is a real pity. Europe’s patriotic parties—Le Pen’s National Rally, Meloni’s Brothers of Italy, Germany’s AfD—were supposed to unite for real change. A big, strong wall on the outside. No more endless third-world migration and riots in city streets. Freedom from Brussels’ central planners and their insane war on prosperity. Instead, France finds itself nearing ruin: out of control debt, divided neighborhoods, and cities on edge. The globalists made the mess, but Le Pen seems more interested in managing it than ending it.
And it gets worse. Le Pen brags about France’s nuclear power advantage but threatens to cut supply to Germany, hoarding electricity for her own industry and shiny new data centers. That’s not bold sovereignty—it’s playground blackmail. Meanwhile, Germany, run into the ground by green fanatics, depends on French nuclear energy just to keep its lights on. Europe’s mighty “moral leader” is left groveling for scraps of real energy, a victim of its own virtue signaling. The liberals cried for a green utopia; now they’re left shivering in the dark.
Here’s what nobody on the left wants to admit: the real solution was always about breaking Brussels’ grip, killing the Green Deal for good, and putting nations—not bureaucrats—back in charge. Instead, Le Pen is playing along. The so-called “far right” is starting to look like controlled opposition—making noise but doing nothing to end the globalist nightmare. Is Le Pen just doing what she thinks is possible in a broken system? Or has she lost the courage to finish the fight she started? The way things are going, France and the rest of Europe might soon find out.
