Some call them “public servants.” But too often, local government bureaucrats act more like petty dictators. Give someone a clipboard, a title, and a taste of power, and suddenly they think they own you. And who pays for their little power trips? Everyday Americans — families just trying to keep food on the table.
It’s the little guy putting up a fence or fixing his porch who gets slapped with crushing fines. Not for causing harm. Not for breaking any real law. Just because some paper-pusher in city hall decided to flex their muscles. This is government overreach on steroids, and it’s happening right in our neighborhoods. The American dream gets chipped away — not by some foreign enemy, but by unelected busybodies who think they know best.
Now, there’s finally a glimmer of hope. One case where a local bureaucrat pushed too far has made it all the way to the Supreme Court. Maybe, just maybe, these unelected tyrants are about to have their wings clipped. Americans are tired of being bullied by the very people our tax dollars pay. It’s not enough for leftists to control what we teach our children or spend our money on — now they want to control whether we paint our sheds or mow our lawns on their schedule?
Don’t buy the liberal lie that this is about safety or community. This is about control. It’s about big government telling law-abiding Americans how to live. While the elites get away with anything, regular people get bled dry by ridiculous fines over nonsense violations. These rules are made and enforced not to help us, but to keep us afraid and dependent.
This is what happens when you let self-important, unaccountable bureaucrats — the foot soldiers of globalist, anti-American agendas — run wild. Democrats may smile for the cameras and promise freedom, but behind closed doors, they unleash an army of clipboard tyrants to nickel-and-dime us into submission. Isn’t it time we fought back? If government can’t even treat citizens with basic respect, maybe it’s time to remind them who they work for. Whose country is this anyway?
