America’s in big trouble, and the left doesn’t want to talk about what’s really causing it. The collapse of marriage in this country is tearing society apart, and liberals act like it’s no big deal. Drugs, crime, depression, families falling apart—these things aren’t just random problems. They start when people stop valuing marriage and family. But the left can’t say that. They love to blame “income inequality” or “systemic racism,” but they’re terrified to mention that broken homes are the breeding ground for chaos.
Look around. Kids grow up without fathers. Women are left struggling on their own. Boys are lost, desperate for purpose, turning to gangs because there’s no dad at home. But say that out loud, and suddenly you’re called “judgmental” or “out of touch.” Meanwhile, left-wing politicians and academics pretend that family structure doesn’t matter at all. They want to pretend that kids with two married parents have no better chances than kids from shattered homes. Does anyone really believe that?
The truth is obvious. When marriage falls apart, everything else collapses too. Liberals worship at the altar of “personal freedom,” but freedom without responsibility just creates chaos. The globalists and their allies on the left are happy to promote any idea that weakens the American family. Why? Because strong families make strong communities, and strong communities don’t need the government controlling every part of their lives. If people have family, faith, and purpose, they don’t need to depend on politicians or unelected bureaucrats in some far-off city.
Here’s what the left really thinks: fixing marriage isn’t their job. Maybe they’re right about that, but they also refuse to talk about how their own policies have made everything worse. Handouts replace husbands. No-fault divorce makes family seem pointless. They want to spend billions on government “solutions,” but they won’t admit government is the problem in the first place.
It’s time to stop pretending. Marriage isn’t just some old-fashioned tradition. It’s the foundation of a sane society. The left doesn’t want to face the facts because they’re terrified that real solutions mean less power for them. So why do conservatives go silent, too? Are they scared of being called names, or are they just tired of fighting a culture war that’s already burning down the house? If nobody stands up for marriage, are we really surprised when America falls apart?
