The radical left is at it again. This time, Angie Nixon—a proud card-carrying member of the Democratic Socialists of America—has decided to take another cheap shot at Vice President JD Vance. Instead of offering real ideas to help everyday Americans, Nixon chooses to obsess over Vance’s appearance, making ridiculous comments about him wearing eyeliner, as if that’s somehow a relevant attack on his leadership or policies.
But Nixon didn’t stop there. She had to go down the tired path of identity politics, dragging generations past into a race for victimhood. According to her, her ancestors supposedly “helped build this thing,” implying that gives her some special claim over America today. Since when does being a descendant of anyone make you a better leader for all Americans? That’s the sort of divisive thinking the left thrives on—always separating people by their backgrounds and stirring resentment, instead of pushing for unity and shared American values.
While JD Vance fights to protect our borders, build up the middle class, and stand up to globalist elites, all the left can do is sneer and complain about how he looks. If this is the best the Democratic Socialists can offer—personal digs and whining about history—they can forget about winning any more hearts and minds. Americans want results, not woke lectures or trendy fixations on victimhood.
Liberals like Nixon love to talk about building things, but what have they ever actually built besides more bureaucracy, more dependence, and more division? They tear down American tradition, mock hard-working patriots, and dream up new ways to pit us against each other. The country wasn’t built on constant complaints and finger-pointing—it was built on grit, honor, and real achievement. That’s what JD Vance represents, and left-wing critics can’t stand it.
Maybe Angie Nixon and her socialist buddies should worry less about the eyeliner on Vice President Vance—and more about the dangerous incompetence and hypocrisy coming out of their own camp. Is attacking a conservative’s looks really the best they’ve got?
