Trump cozying up to Putin and Xi could be the GOP’s ultimate betrayal of America

Donald Trump is playing with fire if he even thinks about sitting down with Vladimir Putin and China’s Xi Jinping for some kind of so-called “Yalta 2” summit. This isn’t strength. This is walking blindfolded into a leftist trap. The last time world leaders got together at Yalta, we got decades of suffering under Soviet oppression and watched the Iron Curtain slam down across half of Europe. Conservatives know this. Do globalist elites know this? Or do they simply not care?

Let’s get real: Putin and Xi aren’t America’s friends. They don’t want peace. They want power. They want to carve up the world, and the left is always ready to sit at the table. Liberals have always made excuses for China’s abuse and Russia’s aggression. They say, “let’s talk, let’s negotiate.” All that talk leads to is America giving up what’s ours while dictators gain ground. That’s why the idea of a Trump-Putin-Xi summit gets every true conservative’s blood boiling.

It’s no secret that the GOP is already under attack from the inside. RINOs, Never-Trumpers, and globalist stooges keep selling out American interests every chance they get. Now imagine them-handed an excuse to melt down if Trump flirts with cross-table diplomacy with tyrants. The left will pounce, pretending to care about national security, but every real conservative knows we’re just playing right into their hands.

If Trump wants to lead with strength, he shouldn’t look to FDR’s ghost or foreign strongmen. He should look to the American people. Stand with us, not with autocrats who crush freedom and laugh at our democracy. Putin invades his neighbors. Xi locks up dissidents. Neither one deserves the honor of a handshake with an American President, let alone negotiations about the fate of the free world.

Any Republican who thinks another Yalta is a good idea might as well join the Democrat party. Conservatives didn’t fight for decades just to see sellouts hand over our values to global bullies. What’s next—spilling champagne with Iran’s mullahs and North Korea’s madman? If Trump is serious about America First, he’ll slam the door in the face of this Yalta nonsense and remind the world: the United States does not beg for the approval of tyrants.
