Australia in Shock after Leftist Mob Brutally Maims Sitting MP Media Stays Silent

Australia has always claimed to be a model of civility and “fair go” values. But what happened to Helen Haines, a sitting Member of Parliament brutally attacked by a crazed left-wing activist, shows just how quickly the far-left mob can unleash real violence on their political enemies. The ugly truth is staring freedom-loving people in the face: we’re living in a world where facts don’t matter, and the only thing the left respects is force.

While Haines was just getting things from her vehicle outside her office—a normal day, nothing out of the ordinary—a 43-year-old leftist named Brendan Nugent turned his SUV into a weapon. He didn’t just hit her once and drive away. He came back around, made sure to pin her between the vehicles, and left her with devastating injuries. She lost her leg at first. Now, her condition has worsened, and she’s lost her other leg. How many conservatives have to get run over before the liberals in power admit who the real threat is?

The so-called “peaceful” activists of the left love to shriek about “right-wing violence,” but when one of their own mows down a woman in broad daylight, they shrug or look away. They don’t hold themselves to the same standards they demand from everyone else. Where is the outrage, the wall-to-wall coverage, the avalanche of think pieces blaming leftist rhetoric for inciting violence? The mainstream media, too busy pushing climate panic and globalist talking points, stays nearly silent.

Leaders obsessed with appeasing the far left keep dragging their feet on law and order. It’s the same story across the Western world: political correctness above public safety, woke excuses above real consequences. They claim to care about women in politics, but if the attacker worships at the altar of social justice, suddenly the victim’s political views don’t count.

This attack should be a wake-up call. If the left is allowed to act like street thugs with immunity, freedom-minded citizens everywhere are in danger. How many more good people like Helen Haines will be targeted before elites get serious about cracking down on this radical violence? Or maybe—just maybe—they never planned to do anything at all.
