DOJ Watchdog Refuses to Investigate Olympian Scandal and Americans Are Furious Over the Double Standard

Once again, the Justice Department proves it’s above accountability. The so-called watchdog of the DOJ just shrugged off calls to investigate a high-profile case involving a former Olympian accused of vandalizing the Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C. The inspector general straight-up told the athlete’s lawyers that their complaints were none of his business. Really? So, if Americans have questions about how the government handles a case—especially when it reeks of politics—the gatekeepers get to decide it’s not “their job” to look into it? That’s too convenient.

Let’s not kid ourselves. If this had been a case fitting the left’s narrative—maybe a conservative demonstrating at the Capitol or an average parent protesting at a school board—the DOJ would throw the book at them. But if it can be swept under the rug, or if the facts might embarrass the bureaucrats in charge, suddenly there’s nothing to see here. The system protects its own every single time, leaving regular Americans wondering who the DOJ actually works for.

Why is it that whenever serious questions get raised about the integrity of our federal agencies, the answers always end up buried in legalese and endless bureaucracy? They love to claim they stand for justice, but their actions scream cover-up. Americans are sick and tired of these elitist insiders picking and choosing what matters and what doesn’t, based on politics and globalist interests, not fairness or truth.

And let’s not overlook the hypocrisy. The left loves to scream about “accountability” when it’s Republicans in the hot seat. But when their own agencies are questioned, it’s all smoke, mirrors, and stonewalling. How can anyone trust an agency that polices itself with no consequences?

This is what you get with liberal incompetence running the show: agencies circling the wagons, ignoring legit concerns, and proving time and again they have zero interest in transparency. Maybe the real question is, who will hold the DOJ accountable when they clearly can’t police themselves?
