Florida woman jailed after attacking trooper over ICE crackdown liberals silent as cops targeted

If you want a snapshot of today’s upside-down America, look no further than Florida, where a woman just landed in federal prison for attacking the very people who are working to keep our communities safe. Jennifer Cruz decided she was above the law. She stormed out of her car and physically assaulted a Florida Highway Patrol trooper—right in the face—because she didn’t like that law enforcement was doing its job. And why? Because they were cooperating with ICE and Border Patrol to remove illegal immigrants.

Let’s be crystal clear: This was not some poor, misunderstood protester. Cruz is a U.S. citizen who deliberately targeted officers that uphold our border security. She threw a fit, not over injustice, but because law enforcement had the nerve to partner with federal agencies to enforce immigration law. The left loves to pretend that working with ICE is somehow evil—meanwhile, real criminals walk free while our cops become the actual targets.

Who’s side are Democrats on? Because it sure isn’t America’s. Whenever law enforcement teams up to make us safer, liberals scream “racism” and “fascism.” They like to coddle criminals, demonize police, and act shocked when chaos erupts. But this week’s sentencing sends a loud and clear message: assault a cop for enforcing our borders, and you belong behind bars.

Americans are tired of this double standard. If a border agent defends himself, the media and leftist activists cry foul. But when someone physically attacks law enforcement because immigration law is being enforced, liberals rush to make excuses. Where’s their outrage now? It’s funny how quiet the usual “social justice” crowd gets when the criminal doesn’t fit their narrative.

Florida’s not playing around anymore, and frankly, the rest of the country should take note. Want to disrupt law and order? There are consequences. Maybe, instead of defending those who assault our officers, Democrats should try defending our laws for once. If you can’t respect the badge, don’t be shocked when you end up behind bars. Isn’t it about time law-abiding Americans started winning again?
