Don Davis is proving once again why North Carolina can’t trust Democrat politicians with real leadership. Davis, running for reelection in the 1st Congressional District, just can’t stay away from scandal. This time, he’s cozying up to the state’s shady Democrat machine, raking in campaign cash from a party chair whose own behavior should make every parent’s skin crawl.
Davis’ friends in the so-called NC Forward Party didn’t just endorse him—they threw their weight behind a Greensboro Pride event that turned into a public embarrassment. Kids were exposed to things no child should see: adult toys laid out in the open, bizarre performances, drag shows for children, and political attacks painting Trump supporters, law enforcement, and ICE as villains. This is what the radical left is pushing for under the disguise of “progress.” If North Carolina families wanted their kids indoctrinated and sexualized at taxpayer-supported events, they’d move to California. But this is the new Democrat agenda—let children be exposed to anything as long as it’s wrapped in a rainbow flag and calls police the enemy.
And if that wasn’t enough, Davis decided it was time for a smear campaign against his Republican opponent, retired Col. Laurie Buckhout. Instead of debating the real issues—like public safety, border security, and inflation—Davis chose dirty tricks. His campaign spent big money on misleading ads, lying about Buckhout’s North Carolina roots, and even using a spokesperson who couldn’t pronounce the names of local counties. That’s how out of touch these liberal elites are with the folks they claim to represent—they can’t even get the name right.
When Davis’ team realized their tone-deaf attack had flopped, they quietly started editing the ads, trying to cover up their own incompetence. But North Carolinians see through the lies. They know real leadership isn’t about pandering to radical activists or spending dark money on false attack ads. It’s about honesty, respect for the community, and defending families from the left’s cultural chaos.
Democrats like Don Davis want to bring California values to the heart of North Carolina. They’ll stoop as low as it takes, turning family events into political battlegrounds and trying to take down decorated veterans with lies. The question is, will voters reward this behavior? Or will they finally stand up and say, “Enough!” to this circus?
