Supreme Court Lets Maine Crush Gun Rights Here Is Why Every American Should Be Outraged

The Supreme Court just shrugged its shoulders at Maine’s ridiculous new gun law, and every freedom-loving American should be furious. In the so-called “Pine Tree State,” you now have to wait a whopping 72 hours before you can take possession of a gun you legally bought. That’s three days where your right to defend yourself is put on ice—all because some nervous politicians think it might make them look like they’re “doing something” about violence. What a joke.

And let’s talk about Gov. Janet Mills. She didn’t even have the guts to sign the bill, just let it become law while mumbling about feeling “conflicted.” That’s not real leadership. That’s trying to keep her hands clean in case things go sideways. Democrats know this waiting period is unpopular. But instead of protecting rights, they want to keep pushing the gun-grabbing agenda that’s swept through left-wing circles and globalist cocktail parties.

The Supreme Court could have stepped up. They could have put a stop to another attack on the Second Amendment. Instead, they ducked out, leaving law-abiding Mainers twisting in the wind. Once again, the high court lets politicians chip away at a God-given right while criminals will keep getting guns any way they please. News flash: criminals don’t wait three days for anything.

This isn’t about safety. It’s about control. Liberals don’t trust Americans. They’d rather punish responsible people than admit their “solutions” never actually stop bad guys. Governor Mills isn’t alone, either. Across the nation, blue state leaders sneak around the Constitution, hoping folks won’t notice until it’s too late. But they forget that Americans notice everything when it comes to their freedom.

How many more excuses, delays, and lies are we going to allow before everyone realizes: the real danger isn’t guns, it’s politicians who won’t defend your rights?
