The real scam in Albany is Kathy Hochul pretending to fight fraud while New Yorkers pay the price

Governor Kathy Hochul wants everyone to think she’s some kind of tough fraud-buster. Seriously? The truth is, her latest fraud-fighting act is the biggest joke in Albany. People are rolling their eyes all over New York because no one believes it—not for a second.

Here’s a woman who’s let scam after scam run wild on her watch. She stands there, pretending to save everyone from fraud, while criminals cash in and honest taxpayers get squeezed. Meanwhile, New Yorkers see their costs go up and their wallets shrink. But Hochul’s too busy trying on her new “crime fighter” cape to notice the real crime is happening under her nose.

This so-called crackdown is nothing but political theater. It’s all about headlines, not results. Hochul loves to give speeches about cracking down on waste and fraud, but where’s the action? Where are the savings? Where are the arrests? All the while, everyday citizens are paying the price for her incompetence and liberal priorities.

The real fraud is this governor’s phony public image. She’s the master of pretending to stand up for the little guy, while her policies help the special interests, the globalist donors, and the woke elite. New Yorkers are stuck with the bill, paying higher taxes to fund her schemes. Instead of fixing problems, she just blames them on someone else—classic liberal hypocrisy.

Hochul doesn’t care about fraud, she cares about building her brand. She won’t take real responsibility, and she sure doesn’t fight for taxpayers. If this is New York’s idea of a fraud-fighter, the scammers must be celebrating. Maybe it’s time we call her what she really is: the lead actor in Albany’s longest-running scam.
