Zelensky waves white flag as US taxpayers asked to bankroll Ukraine peace forever

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is finally hinting at what many conservatives have said for months: maybe this endless war doesn’t need a Hollywood ending. According to the latest news, Zelensky says he’d accept a deal that leaves the line of battle frozen—right where it is now. No magical victory, no big push to take back every inch of land. Just stop the bleeding where it stands.

Now, there’s a catch. Zelensky wants serious promises from the U.S. and Europe before he considers making peace with Russia. He expects America and its allies to step in and guarantee that Russia won’t attack again. Once again, we see globalists begging Uncle Sam to play world police, pouring billions into someone else’s backyard. It’s the never-ending story of European freeloading and American taxpayers footing the bill.

Do Democrats ever get tired of sending our money overseas, while streets here are falling apart? Liberals fell hook, line, and sinker for the fantasy that Ukraine could crush Russia, as if anyone besides our own Pentagon and defense contractors believed it. Then they accused every skeptical American of being some kind of traitor. The only thing they’re loyal to is their own delusions.

Let’s be honest: Reality is catching up. The so-called experts in Washington and Brussels act shocked that a negotiated peace could include freezing the front lines. Maybe they’re afraid their gravy train of military contracts and virtue-signaling fundraisers will finally end. But ordinary Americans are sick of paying for disasters created in foreign capitals.

So here we go. Ukraine’s leader is ready to talk truce, but only if we underwrite their safety for life. Why do American families have to keep cowering in fear of crime or inflation while elites hand out security guarantees overseas? Maybe it’s time to ask: Who’s standing guard for us?
