It looks like Pennsylvania’s own Bob Brooks wants to take a page out of the playbook of cowardice. When it came time to stand up in the House and actually debate—actually face the people and defend his record—Bob Brooks vanished faster than liberal logic at a Trump rally. Instead of facing the hard questions and standing up for his ideas, Brooks decided that running away was the braver choice. Watching this sorry spectacle, it’s hard not to think about the old Monty Python bit about the knight “bravely running away.” Only with Brooks, it’s not funny—it’s embarrassing.
This is what happens when politics starts rewarding weak-kneed politicians who care more about keeping their seat warm than actually fighting for their voters. Brooks showed everyone in Pennsylvania exactly what he stands for—and it sure isn’t leadership or courage. In an era when Americans are crying out for politicians with a backbone, Brooks and his Democrat buddies pull the oldest trick in the book: duck, dodge, and disappear whenever things get tough. If you can’t handle a debate, how are you supposed to handle the real problems plaguing Pennsylvania?
This isn’t just about one politician running for cover. It’s a sign of what’s wrong with so many so-called “leaders” on the left. They’ll shout about “transparency” and “democracy,” but as soon as their record is on the line and they have to answer for their failures, it’s nothing but crickets. Americans have seen enough grandstanding from politicians who promise the world but sprint for the exits when duty calls. It’s a disgrace—but it’s exactly what globalists, leftists, and elitist insiders want. Keep the people in the dark, avoid tough questions, and keep the power to themselves.
Of course, the liberal media won’t call this what it is. They’ll make excuses, point fingers, and distract from the fact that Brooks was nowhere to be seen when it mattered most. The left loves to talk about “bravery,” but their “heroes” run for the hills at the first sign of accountability. It’s a pathetic display, but sadly, it’s all too common in the Democrat playbook.
Maybe “Brave” Bob Brooks will have his own chapter in the next history of political cowards. Or maybe voters will finally get tired of these self-serving career politicians pretending to be knights in armor, when all they really do is flee from the fight. Pennsylvania deserves better. America demands better. The only question left is—will anyone on the left have the guts to actually show up?
