China, the world’s undisputed champion of pollution, is set to march into the next United Nations climate summit with all the smugness of a wolf in a chicken coop. Beijing’s so-called “Ministry of Ecology and Environment” says it’ll send a delegation this November to the big COP31 event in Turkey. They claim they want to “promote” international climate talks — as though the biggest offender suddenly wants to play referee while the rest of the world is told to play by their rules.
Of course, the globalist elites at the U.N. just eat it up. They’ll treat China like some misunderstood teenager who just needs more attention and taxpayer money. But here’s the ugly truth: while China gears up for photo opportunities and virtue-signaling speeches, they’re still pumping out more pollution than any other country on the planet. They build more coal plants, ignore basic environmental safety, and then point fingers at the U.S. and Europe, demanding we cripple our economies for the sake of their “green agenda.”
It’s the height of hypocrisy. Liberal politicians and their lapdogs in the mainstream media love to scold Americans for supposedly not doing enough to fight climate change. But when it comes to the real polluter—China—they suddenly go silent, afraid to upset their favorite trading partner. At these climate clown shows, American workers are always the first to get thrown under the bus. Factories close. Energy prices soar. Families suffer. Meanwhile, China keeps winning, smiling for the cameras while never making any real sacrifices.
The left’s endless obsession with these international summits is nothing but a globalist shell game. The same script gets played out every year: rich nations are told to pay up, while countries like China get to play both victim and villain. The “solutions” always mean more government control, higher costs, and power funneled to unaccountable bureaucrats. All for a crisis China has no intention of actually fixing.
Maybe next time, before liberals hurl insults at American industry, they should ask themselves—why are they rolling out the red carpet for China, the world’s biggest polluter? Or is it just easier to point fingers at hard-working Americans than to call out the real bad actors?
