New government dementia plan means more control over your life and zero real solutions

There they go again—the bureaucrats at the Department of Health and Human Services have unveiled another shiny new plan to “fight” Alzheimer’s and dementia. This time, they claim they’re going to reduce the risk “across the lifespan.” Translation: more government meddling, more so-called experts telling Americans how to live their lives, and even less focus on the real root issues.

Of course, the so-called experts haven’t solved Alzheimer’s—despite billions dumped into studies, committees, and task forces. So now, instead of promising an actual cure, they’re turning the conversation to “reducing risk” over a person’s whole life. That means even more PSA campaigns, more paperwork for doctors, and more big government hand-wringing. It’s classic liberal doublespeak. If they can’t fix the problem, they just change the goalposts and pretend it’s progress.

Liberals love pushing new “National Plans” that always seem to involve more tax dollars and more control over everyday Americans. Instead of holding Big Pharma, foreign labs, or the health industry elites accountable, they focus on social engineering and lifestyle lectures. Don’t eat this, don’t do that—pretty soon, the food police will be monitoring your breakfast, in case you dare to have a second cup of coffee. The globalist crowd cheers every new government plan, all while the number of dementia sufferers grows.

Here’s the hard truth the left refuses to admit: top-down federal plans don’t solve real healthcare crises. Americans don’t need more paperwork, more bureaucracy, and more empty promises from unelected officials. We need real solutions—innovation unleashed by the free market, not roadblocked by red tape and regulation. Instead of letting American families make choices for themselves, the government wants to raise “awareness” and pat itself on the back.

The bureaucrats can change their “goals” and launch all the new plans they want, but at the end of the day, this is just another example of big government announcing plans that don’t deliver. Will they ever admit their grand schemes rarely work—or is the next “update” just another excuse to expand their power and spend even more of your money?
