Venezuela, once the richest nation in South America, sits in shambles under the crushing weight of socialism and corrupt, power-hungry elites. The world watches as the so-called “democratic transition” unfolds, led by Dinorah Figuera, who says she puts her country’s interests first. But let’s not kid ourselves—Venezuela doesn’t just need another election. It needs a full-blown rescue from decades of failed leftist tyranny and globalist manipulation.

Socialists drove Venezuela off a cliff, stealing elections, silencing dissent, and locking up anyone who dared to stand up for freedom. Now, we hear promises of “independent courts” and “free political prisoners” from the opposition. Why wasn’t this pushed for years ago, before the country was gutted and its people left to eat garbage in the streets? The so-called freedom fighters in the opposition sat on their hands while Maduro and his cronies destroyed lives, and now we’re supposed to just trust that this time, they’re serious?

Let’s not forget how the international left propped up these criminals, turning a blind eye to election fraud and open oppression because Venezuela preached the “right” socialist talking points. We remember Bernie Sanders and Hollywood stars praising Hugo Chavez and his rotten regime, holding them up as examples to be admired. Is anyone going to call out the hypocrisy? Or will the liberal elites just rewrite history once the cameras leave?

For Venezuela to claw its way back to real democracy, there needs to be a reckoning—not more empty promises. The country’s courts are still packed with regime puppets, political parties are riddled with plants and sellouts, and innocent people remain behind bars for daring to speak the truth. Who honestly believes an election is legitimate when the referee works for the other team?
