Japanese company caught scamming COVID relief while American businesses shut down and politicians look away

Once again, Americans are watching foreign companies take advantage of our broken system—with almost no pushback from our so-called leaders. Murotech Ohio, a Japanese-owned auto parts maker, just got slapped with a $3 million payout for lying about their employee numbers on COVID-era relief documents. That’s right: a foreign corporation tried to milk American taxpayer dollars meant for struggling U.S. businesses at the height of a national crisis.

But does this really surprise anyone? As the government rushed to hand out billions in taxpayer money, liberals were too focused on passing bloated stimulus bills to bother with basic oversight. The left’s obsession with “everyone gets a piece” turned into “everyone gets away with it”—and the real victims, as always, are hard-working American citizens. While mom-and-pop shops across Ohio and the rest of the country shuttered their doors, a foreign outfit was playing games with the numbers, just to rake in the loot.

Now, here’s the other kicker: Murotech didn’t just stretch the truth—they flat-out lied by hiding employees who worked for their affiliates. That allowed them to rake in money they shouldn’t have even touched if the rules were enforced. This is what happens when globalist-minded bureaucrats make decisions with American money. They’re so out of touch, they let foreign interests run wild in our own backyard.

It took whistleblowers—good people willing to stand up and risk their necks—to bring this scam to light. These folks will take home $150,000 each, which is a decent payday, but honestly, can you imagine how many other schemes went undetected while the left was doling out blank checks to anyone who asked? This single case is the tip of the iceberg. One has to wonder how many billions got wasted or shipped overseas while average Americans were told to “stay home and stay safe.”

The left loves to talk about putting Americans first, but every time you look behind the curtain, it’s foreigners cashing in. When are we going to get serious about defending our resources and holding these companies—and the politicians who enable them—accountable? Or are we going to keep letting global interests walk all over us, one scam at a time?
