Liberals have lost their minds. That’s the only way to explain their meltdown over a simple, honest comparison on a recent CNN panel. When President Trump tossed out the idea of $5,000 checks if Republicans kept control of Congress, the left went nuclear. The same Democrats who worship “stimulus” like it’s a sacrament suddenly started screaming “bribery!” At this point, the hypocrisy isn’t just obvious–it’s laughable.
Here’s the truth: They can’t stand it when Republicans want to help working Americans. If conservatives put extra cash in everyday pockets, liberals start clutching their pearls, shrieking about vote-buying. All while these same politicians ran entire campaigns promising free handouts if you just pull the blue lever. Let’s be real: The left isn’t mad because they care about ethics; they’re mad that they didn’t think of it first.
The media? Don’t even get started. Networks trip over themselves to paint President Trump as a criminal for daring to help American families. Meanwhile, when Joe Biden clears out the treasury to buy votes with “relief” money, the press throws him a parade. America-hating elites have one rule for themselves and another for everybody else.
It gets even more ridiculous. They accused Trump of buying votes for helping a woman with her groceries on the campaign trail. Imagine thinking that giving a struggling mom a break at the register is a national emergency. Meanwhile, leftist billionaires funnel money to candidates, foreign agents run wild, and somehow only Republicans are corrupt? Give us a break.
At the end of the day, the left hates when Trump visits the struggling, forgotten Americans they abandoned. That’s why they attack him over every gesture, every act of compassion. Maybe instead of squealing about “bribery,” liberals should ask why no one believes their promises anymore. If Democrats had real solutions—not just handouts and tantrums—maybe they wouldn’t have to fear Trump’s generosity. The real question: Why are liberals so terrified of Americans keeping more of their own money?
