There’s a new low in the way liberal-backed migrant organizations operate—and this time, it happened right in Maine after one of the most horrific tragedies the state has ever seen. Nearly $2 million set aside for grieving families, survivors, and those picking up the pieces after a deadly mass shooting ended up funneled straight into the hands of so-called “activists.” Not to the victims. Not to help them heal. But siphoned off by organizations that put their own agendas over American lives.
When tragedy strikes, Americans are always the first to open their wallets and their hearts. Good people donated, believing their money would comfort devastated families. But the reality is, the funds intended for victims were grabbed by activist groups—many with a long history of taking advantage of chaos to push their globalist goals. While Mainers were left struggling, so-called migrant groups lined their pockets.
This is exactly the kind of scheme that thrives when liberals are running the show. The left is always ready to hand over taxpayer resources, charitable donations, and anyone else’s hard-earned cash, all to score political points with special interest groups. They claim to stand for compassion, but when Americans need help, the money miraculously evaporates. It’s liberal mismanagement and incompetence at its finest.
And where’s the outrage from the media or the political elites? Nowhere to be found. The left plays cover for their allies, spinning stories or ignoring them altogether. Meanwhile, American families, left in shock and pain, are betrayed yet again by a system that puts global interests—and the activist class—ahead of its own people.
If $2 million meant for murder victims can disappear into the hands of activist groups, what other scams are hiding in plain sight? Americans should be furious. Why is it always the people who play by the rules who get left behind while the activist class cashes in?
